WOW !
Was this caused by the caved in lake over-flow,or the fill put in the lake without a permit ? Either way Brady Lake Village officials did not do their job.

WET ! - We Enable Truth, is about how wet,and dysfunctional things are around Brady Lake.
The Brady Lake Village (BLV) officials (clerk gang) said in 2008,something would be done about the caved in lake overflow, and the BLV area flooding.
Here it is 2014 and NOTHING has been done, but lip service. If you would like to see all the BLV blog sites. There seems be be an endless supply of pictures about the lake flooding.
How much is it worth, law suit wise,to have to live with the flooding around the lake, plus the chances of black mold?
What about the fact that you could not possibly sell your house should you decide to live elsewhere??? Where is the Franklin Township hall? I live very close by and would like to attend the meeting.
Hey Anonymous 3/25/12,Brady Lake Village owns Brady lake and is supposed to maintain the lake overflow.
The next meeting of WET-We Enable Truth,is Tuesday 3/27/12,7:00 PM,at the Club House on Walton Street near the lake,or call 330-673-5891 from 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM to get more details.
Has the Lake even reached it's original level?
You should have your property surveyed to show where your property ends and the lake starts.
The water level has been low for 30 years. It is just now where it should be and if there is any flooding b/c people altered their properties since then.
It's mothernature no one is to blame.
Hey Anonymous Thursday 3/29/12 & Friday 3/30/12,
I think your both right, but since Brady Lake Village owns the lake,it was the BLV official's job to watch what kind & how much fill was put in the lake.
BLV droppped the ball on 2 counts.
First BLV did not maintain the lake overflow, and then BLV let people put any kind or any ammount of fill in the lake, with no permits.
SO,the problem still falls on BLV leadership. People will do almost anything with their properties without some kind of rules, that need to be enforced.
The people in charge of Brady Lake's money spent it on things they wanted, not what the tax payers needed.
When you own your own property it comes with what is called BUNDLE OF RIGHTS
Hey Anonymous 4/1/12,
Thanks for the info, but I'm not sure what BUNDLE OF RIGHTS means, where would be a good place to start looking for info on that ? All help is greatly appreciated !
Ohio real estate principals. Plus, the ODNR Ohio division of natural resources probally has valuable advice.
Hey Anonymous 4/2/12,
Thanks for the info.
I will share this at tonite's WET-We Enable Truth meeting at the Club House,at 7:00 PM.
Hey Anonymous 4/1/02,
I typed in on Google search(bundle of rights).
Lots of good info on things that might concern BLV area residents.
Thanks for the tip,I learn something every day.
I think the lake looks beatiful and full.
Hey Anonymous 4/8/12,your right.
The lake level is back to where it was 36 years ago when I moved to BLV.
It seems the flooding problem is more than just the caved in lake overflow. BLV area residents have been allowed to put any kind or amount of fill in the lake, without permits, and that has caused flooding for other lake area residents.
I hope the Ohio EPA can help figure this flooding problem out.
The truth is. . . . the homes with flooding problems built to close to the lake.
What helps one person hurts another
Hey Anonymous 4/9/12,
Your probaly right, but let's hope fixing the lake overflow, and NO more filling of the lake, will solve some problems.
The focus should be on raising funds or aquiring funds to fix the overflow and not on blaming others. Alot of people with lakefront property build breakwalls for protection.
Hey Anonymous 4/10/12,
The EPA was called to try and figure out how to fix the flooding problem.
It seems years ago the Army Corps of Engineers got the wrong info on what kind of lake,Brady Lake really is.
The EPA rep.seems to think help is available. The cards will fall where they fall,as far as the fill that was put in the lake without permits.
Since Brady Lake Village owns most of the lake,it should be their job to take care of it,and they did not.
Great news! I hope all goes well. Best of wishes.
